About
I’m the Funny Looking Guy in the Wheelchair
Don’t even try to hide it. When you saw the picture on the right, I know the question popped into your head.
No, I’m not trying to make you feel guilty for thinking it. My disability is (temporarily) part of who I am, so we might as well talk about it on the about page.
I have a disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy. It’s a degenerative neuromuscular disease, meaning I’m supposed to get weaker and weaker until I’m finally dead.
Of course, I’m not dead. Maybe I’m too busy, too stubborn, or just plain blessed, but I’ve outlived my life expectancy by 22 years.
And I’m showing no signs of stopping.
I’m Running Four Real Estate Companies
$50 million. It’s a big number, isn’t it?
I wish I could tell you it is the number of dollars in my bank account, but I would be lying. Rather, it’s the combined value of all of the real estate I help manage.
For some reason, investors seem to think that I know what I’m doing in real estate. So, they partner with my father (the real real estate genius) and I on all types of investments.
I’m not one of those people that brags about how much money I make, but let’s just say we’re doing pretty well.
I’m the Author of Several Best-Selling Books
Well, not yet. It’s just an affirmation that I’m putting out there for the universe to start working on.
A little over two years ago, I graduated with a bachelor’s in English, of all things, and vowed to be a writer. Then I got tired of starving and decided real estate was a better idea.
Now that I’m not starving anymore, I’m going back to my roots and writing this blog and a couple of books.
They will be best-sellers, so watch for them. In fact, if you haven’t already done so, sign up to my newsletter now.

Found your blog through Consumerism Commentary! You have, by far, the best real estate investing blog that I have found. Keep up the great work!
